Doug Reese, MBA
Doug Reese helps dentists with personal planning, financial planning, and investment management. He comes to dentistry with a lifetime of experience in the dental field. Bob Barkley was his step father. His mother, Willa Jefferson, was married to Bob Barkley and was his dental assistant. The complications of settling Bob Barkley's estate after Barkley's death in 1977 led Doug to choose financial planning for dentists as his life's work. Doug graduated from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois with a degree in Finance. He also received his MBA from Western Illinois. He worked with Bud Ham after graduating from college and then created his own business -Wealth Associates- in 1991. Doug met his wife Lisa at RMR and to the delight of all who knew them was wise enough to marry her. Doug and Lisa were the corner stones of the Young Peoples program at RMR. His mission with his business is to "help his clients cultivate the desire to maintain financial health and help the dental community realize their financial dreams." He is also the archivist for the Bob Barkley papers and with his mother Willa has consented to have many of Bob's articles published on ISOC. Doug has re-published Bob Barkley's book Successful Preventive Dental Practices Amazon.com: Successful Preventive Dental Practices (9781439266786): Robert F. Barkley D.D.S.: Books Doug publishes a newsletter Financial Planning Services - Newsletters - Wealth Associates He can be reached at Wealth Associates - Home Page - Seasons of Wealth.com
